The wonder of our dogs. They help us become the person, they believe we can be. Mutts & Mittens is more than just dogs, cats or bunnies. They are family. Believing in the good of one another. And doing their best for all the furry friends. Mutts & Mittens offers services such as boarding long and short term, rehoming and voluntary work. Mutts & Mittens is a commercial boarding facility that is involved in animal welfare work.
Under their roof, they have about 100 rescued dogs and cats looking for homes. Many are old and require medical care. They hope that rescuers and volunteers work closely with them. Train and socialise their animals. And remain hopeful that their new homes are just round the corner. The animal welfare world is fat on emotions.
When you are pouring your hearts into the future of voiceless ones. They have nothing to repay you, except love.
Volunteering is never about you or me. It's about the little ones who tug at our heart strings and push us out of our comfort zone - to forget about ourselves and help.
