New Upcoming Movies 2012

Movies to look forward in 2012

We always welcome blockbuster movies every year, superheros and sequels have been part of our dating life in Singapore. Their presence on the big-screen 2012 definitely makes it more exciting.

2012 looks like it's going to be an amazing year for movies, with the most eagerly anticipated genre movie in recent memories.

The Dictator

The heroic story of a dictator who risks his life to ensure that democracy would never come to the country he so lovingly oppressed.

THE AVENGERS

Marvel throws a good chunk of its finest ingredients into one pot and sees if it can make a solid movie out of it. Thus, you're going to get the likes of Iron Man, Black Widow, Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and more doing battle, with director Joss Whedon in charge of things.

MEN IN BLACK III

Agent J travels in time to MIB's early years in the 1960s, to stop an alien from assassinating his friend Agent K and changing history. Looking forward to watching Will Smith, for me always.

MADAGASCAR 3

What's not to get excited about!
For everyone from difference context of life, you will still be bursting with excitement at the thought of a third Madagascar movie.

Alex the Lion, Marty the Zebra, Melman the Giraffe and Gloria the Hippo join a traveling circus in an effort to get back home to New York.

ICE AGE: CONTINENTAL DRIFT

Ice Age: Continental Drift, also known as Ice Age 4, is an upcoming American 3-D computer-animated film directed by Steve Martino and Mike Thurmeier.

Manny, Diego, and Sid embark upon another adventure after their continent is set adrift. Using an iceberg as a ship, they encounter sea creatures and battle pirates as they explore a new world.

THE DARK KNIGHT RISES

Surely the film to beat in the summer of 2012. It's not going to have the Heath Ledger effect that helped power The Dark Knight to $1bn in box office takings, but ‘eagerly-awaited' barely seems to describe director Christopher Nolan's final visit to Gotham City.

Eight years after the events of The Dark Knight, the terrorist leader Bane arrives in Gotham City, pushing it and its police force to their limits, forcing its former hero Batman to resurface after taking the fall for Harvey Dent's crimes.

G.I. JOE 2

The G.I. Joe team faces off against Zartan, his accomplices, and the world leaders he has under his influence.

The Amazing Spider-Man

Teenager Peter Parker grapples with both human problems and amazing super-human crises.

I Hate You, Dad

I Hate You Dad centers on a father (Adam Sandler) who moves in on the eve of his son's (Andy Samberg) wedding and promptly begins feuding with the bride-to-be.

More for the joyous soul, xx
